Job Description :
1. Government & Project Business Development €¢ Develop business from State & Central Government Departments such as PHED, Water Works, Irrigation, Jal Jeevan Mission, Smart City, AMRUT, Sewerage Boards, Municipal Corporations, and Industrial Development Authorities. €¢ Identify upcoming tenders and projects for PVC, HDPE, DWC, UGDS and pressure piping systems. €¢ Build strong relationships with government engineers, consultants, contractors and project authorities.
2. Tendering & Pre-Qualification €¢ Track, analyze and participate in e-tenders, GEM and offline tenders. €¢ Coordinate preparation of technical, commercial and financial bids. €¢ Ensure compliance with IS standards, approvals, vendor registrations and pre-qualification criteria.
3. Approvals & Product Specification €¢ Get products approved in government departments, EPC consultants and project tender specifications. €¢ Work with consultants to include company products in BOQs, DPRs and tender documents. €¢ Conduct product presentations and technical meetings with authorities.
4. Project Order Execution €¢ Coordinate with production, dispatch, QA, logistics and finance for smooth execution. €¢ Ensure timely supply, billing, testing, inspection and documentation as per government norms. €¢ Handle site-level coordination with contractors for smooth delivery and acceptance.
5. Payment Follow-up & Documentation €¢ Ensure timely submission of invoices, test certificates, warranties, inspection reports. €¢ Follow up with departments and contractors for payment release and retention money.
6. Market Intelligence & Strategy €¢ Track competitor activities, pricing, and new project pipelines. €¢ Identify opportunities for new products like CPVC, DWC, HDPE and pressure piping systems. €¢ Prepare regular sales forecasts and project pipelines.
